Geralyn came to us knowing she wanted a SDE that was slightly different than our usual style and wanted it to include audio mixed in from throughout the day. We made sure to use a portion of the vows they exchanged at the beautiful Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland. This added an extra challenge to our already tight time constraints, but we always love to try new things. Geralyn’s sense of humor, along with Melvin’s playfulness, made the day so much fun.  Together they are perfect to watch on screen. Enjoy the SDE!

I love what I do and always want to offer my best to the wonderful brides and grooms I have the honor of working with. To do that, it’s important to seek out opportunities to grow and learn in my craft. So, I regularly attend conferences and workshops for both video and photography. This past week I had the pleasure of attending a weeklong workshop with Scott Robert Lim. I’ve worked on weddings with Scott in the past and really enjoy his photography. I attended his one-hour presentation at WWPI in Las Vegas a couple months ago and was so inspired by his work and what he had to say, that when I heard he was doing a workshop in SF I knew I had to go. It was a busy week, packed with information and hands-on training. I learned some great new techniques that I can’t wait to apply to my work. Here are a few of the photos from our model session.

With a busy wedding season in full swing, it’s a bit harder to find time to post. So, forgive me if my updates are a few days behind.

This past weekend we filmed three weddings and created two SDE’s…

Our first SDE was done for Elizabeth and Al who started their day at the lovely Claremont Hotel in Berkeley before heading off to Tilden park in Berkeley for their ceremony and reception. These guys were a great couple to work with because they were so in love and you could tell how much they really enjoyed each other and their friends and family in attendance. Enjoy the SDE!

Our second SDE was filmed the next day for Aimee and Nilson. They got married at St Mary’s Cathedral in Orinda and had their reception at one of our favorite spots in San Ramon – the Bridges Golf Club. This couple knew how to throw a bash! DJ Jeff Paras kept the club-style party on the dance floor all night with some great mixes. Enjoy!
